Air travel for refugees from Ukraine

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova informs that it will ensure the organization of irregular flights for refugees coming from Ukraine, starting with March 21, 2022.

Thus, refugees who entered the territory of the Republic of Moldova from Ukraine, due to the tense situation in the region, but who intend to migrate to another country, have the opportunity to register by completing the online form by accessing the official page of the Civil Aviation Authority ( www.caa.md/repatriere).

Also, the registration of the requests can be done by phone, at the numbers: 022 823 500 and 022 823 587, between 08:00 – 18:00. Requests will be processed in a database, which will provide real-time information about the likelihood of operating the escape flight as soon as possible. At the stage when at least 150 people will be certified on a destination, the Civil Aviation Authority will start the competition for the selection of the airline that will perform the evacuation flight, according to the approved Regulation.

Please note that the flights are commercial, the costs are covered by the applicants and the passengers must have valid travel documents for the country of destination.
